Labels are in trend. This is evident not only from the massive campaigns of Coca Cola and Nutella. With the label personalized—whether with a name, nickname, a heart, or other special motifs—a product becomes mine.
Already, labels must be elegant and unique. Different shapes, very intricate designs, and personalized stickers are in demand. However, with the traditional die-cutting form, one quickly encounters limitations. The laser opens up new dimensions here. Extraordinary, particularly delicate, and individual labels are possible.
Whether playful or practical, laser-engraved or laser-cut, small series or large print runs, laser-cut labels impress with their shape, variety, and cost-effectiveness.
Whether for large-scale marketing campaigns, sticker sheets as giveaways, or unique decorations – labels can be either laser-etched or laser-cut. When laser-etching labels, the backing material remains intact, and the labels stay in the sheet. When laser-cutting, both the label and the backing material are cut through, creating individual stickers. For laser-cut labels or stickers, it is advisable to use material with slotted backing material to facilitate easy removal.
We can also use unconventional papers not primarily intended for label printing. We manually equip the back with appropriate adhesive and backing material. Not all plastic labels are suitable for laser-cutting; the material must be tested beforehand.
Customized processing with laser technology means not only an individual design but also standardized personalization. The label itself can be cut into the shape of text, and large printed images can be divided into individual sticker elements. Without the need for a die-cutting form, unnecessary costs are eliminated, and we economically produce small and medium print runs.

In laser label production, label paper is cut using laser technology, while the backing material remains intact. The advantages over traditional die-cutting include the following. The precise laser cut allows for the realization of very intricate designs. Additionally, no tools are required, making it cost-effective even for small print runs.
We are happy to handle the printing of labels for you. Depending on the material, we either print the labels in-house or collaborate with our long-standing suppliers. This allows us to implement all common printing methods.
Almost all commercially available label papers can be processed with the laser. The only exception is PVC-containing label materials, as laser processing generates aggressive acids in this case.
